Brown Egg Layers

The Brown egg layer is a hybrid cross between a White Rock egg-layer type female and a Rhode Island Red male. Sustained production with months over 90% is normal. This layer produces up to 300 eggs by 72 weeks of age on 3 pounds of feed per dozen eggs produced. The mature layer weighs 4.5 pounds and is very docile and durable during cold winter months. This breed is the ideal layer for small family farms as well as large commercial operations.

White Egg Layers

The White Leghorn is a productive breed of egg laying chickens. A popular choice for small farm and commercial egg suppliers, our birds produce 300 or more eggs in a yearly laying cycle. These birds are a highly efficient white egg laying producer, consuming less than 3 pounds of feed per dozen eggs. It does well in confinement housing.

Conventional Broilers

The Conventional Broiler is a fast growing, commercial quality meat bird. Known for rapid growth and weight gains, our bird reaches a broiler/fryer weight of 4lbs. by 5 weeks of age, or can be managed to a roaster chicken weight of 8-10 lbs. by 8 weeks. Bred for meat production, our Cornish Cross has excellent conformation; plump, tender breast meat; and good skin texture. Customers successfully grow this broiler in both a housed environment and a pasture-raised system.

This broiler chicken has an excellent feed conversion rate. A live weight of 4-5 lbs. (3.5 lbs. dressed) can be achieved on less than 2 pounds of feed per pound of meat.
